NO BEACHES - NO FOO-FOO DRINKS
Well, actually there is a beach along the rio Urique but it doesn’t have lounge chairs and someone to order chips and guacamole coming by.
This week is about connection. Connection to the lands, the peoples and life perspectives that sometimes we need a reminder of.
The all-inclusive Sierra Tarahumara Adventure Camp is an educational, cultural, and movement journey with and through the heart of the Copper Canyons - the largest and deepest canyon system in North America. We will all share local cuisine, music, hikes, runs, traditional sports, temezcals, photography lessons, and every night some time around the sacred fire. You will be introduced to many of our Raramuri friends who are not just legendary athletes, but kind, humble and inspiring people who will help you come to know these mountains and why they will call them home forever.
In addition to an opportunity to visit a local Raramuri children’s school, this year we will also be able to spectate and support a traditional Rarajipari - the ball race that is perhaps the foundation of Raramuri social culture. It won’t be just any Rarajipari, we expect it will attract the greatest players of this generation from throughout the Sierra. This is made possible by True Messages, the US 501c3 nonprofit that is continuing the messages and projects that Micah True began in these mountains. It is possible for True Messages to support this particular event via a donation/grant made by Wander Project from a donation made by All We Do Is Run of three charity running bibs for their 4 day event at the Born to Run Ultramarathons. It is going to be an extra special week.
The 2026 Sierra Tarahumara Adventure Camp is a event organized by All We Do Is Run, Copper Canyons Endurance Runs, Entre Amigos, and True Messages. Your host is Luis Escobar and local coordination provided by Michael and Kimberly Miller in support of True Messages.

ENTRE AMIGOS
Entre Amigos is a magical oasis in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara. Positioned deep in the Barranca de Urique, Entre (as it is known) has been home to adventurers and those who wander for over 30 years. Several private casitas, a “Big House” hostel style accommodations, 20 beautiful camping spots, abundant organic gardens, 18 varieties of fruiting trees, coffee trees, two kitchens, an on property loop trail and (we think) one of the most spectacular group fire / music venue in all of the Sierra, It’s rustic, but it is a perfect representation of all that makes the energy of these lands so vibrant.
